VisionFM's benchmark reports summarize information across all modules and produce over 30 status reports that are vital to determining the performance of your facilities operation. The reports help to identify where facilities staff and buildings are achieving their potential and where changes in policy or funding have the greatest impact.

Compare performance between buildings and over time

Many of the benchmark reports summarize information by building or building classification, allowing the Facilities Manager to identify buildings that are under-performing. Results can also be compared year-over-year, due to the fact that VisionFM archives the report data in the database, creating a performance history.

Compare performance against industry averages

In addition to benchmarking against previous years, users can also compare their facilities against industry averages. This is due to Vision's modeling of its reports on IFMA's (International Facilities Managers Association) annual benchmark study. The study provides the same performance indicators (by industry) that are generated by VisionFM, allowing Facilities Managers to compare their churn rate, utility costs, lease costs, and more, against their industry peers.

Utilize summary reports to charge back for services and operating costs

VisionFM's space module tracks occupiable space and its occupants, which then calculates chargeable space for each division and department by building. The space information can be combined with one or more costs to charge back departments for the space they occupy.
