This course focuses on the administration and customization features of VisionFM Enterprise. Attendees are typically planning to customize VisionFM or are supporting 5 or more full time VisionFM users.

This course focuses on the operation of VisionFM's modules and its link to AutoCAD. Attendees are drafts-people, managers and VisionFM power users. For users who will only have access to specific modules (for example: call center operators), a custom course is recommended.

 

The following is a list of typical courses and duration.

VisionFM System Administrator (one day)

This course focuses on the administration and customization features of VisionFM Enterprise. Attendees are typically responsible for the administration of user rights, setup of the software, installation and data importing.

VisionFM for Draftspeople (one day)

This course starts with an introduction to working with drawings and database information, creating queries and an overview of the space and asset modules. Attendees will also review the administration features for AutoCAD, including the customization of layer standards and block libraries.

Space and Asset Manager (one day)

This one-day course begins with the hierachical asset, space and organization structures, which form the foundation of all other facilities information. It focuses on the forms that define the hierarchies as well as the recording of space, asset and employee data.

Move Manager (half day)

This course focuses on the relocation of people and assets from the submission of move requests through to the generation of move related work orders.

Maintenance Manager (one day)

This course covers the management of tenant service requests, unscheduled work and scheduled (preventative maintenance) work. This course starts with the setup of PM tasks, maintenance issues, trades and contractors. The course then covers the various methods of recieving, assigning and completing work orders.

Lease Management (half day)

The Lease course covers the recording of property leases and lease costs, associating leases to space and recording critical dates.

Project Management (one day)

The Project Management course takes the attendee through the creation of funding sources, project tasks, phases and templates. Attendees will learn how to set up project requests, work through approval and funding tasks as well as set up project phases and timelines. Once projects are approved, users will create work orders, move orders, contracts, purchase orders and change orders against the project phases.

Capital Planning (half day)

The Capital Planning course starts with the defining of asset life cycles, inspection schedules and tasks. The module then builds on asset and space information to create an inspection plan and replacement forecast. Attendees are taken through the steps to modify the inspection plan, generate and issue condition surveys, complete surveys and adjust system life remaining. Users will also associate system renewal to projects and compare capital renewal requirements to anticipated budgets.
