VisionFM communicates directly with AutoCAD. Creating space, adding furniture or moving an employee in AutoCAD automatically updates the database and vice versa. VisionFM also includes an architectural overlay, which adds symbols libraries and architectural drafting functions, converting AutoCAD into facilities design software. For non-AutoCAD users, VisionFM includes the Drawing Viewer which uses the same database linking features, allowing users to highlight in drawings and click on assets to view database information.

Creating new reports in VisionFM is easy with Crystal Reports, the industry standard in report creation. Easily select the data for your report in VisionFM then select the 'create report' option. VisionFM launches Crystal Reports and automatically creates the database links. The user can then lay out the report including charts and graphs, summary pages and images.
