The Dashboards area is an easy yet powerful tool that keeps you informed of changes to your facility information. Simply create a spreadsheet using VisionFM's robust query designer and add the query to the dashboard. The system will regularly run the query and present the results as totals in your dashboard area. If you notice a change in the totals that requires an action on your part, simply click on the total in the dashboard to display the supporting spreadsheet, which in turn can help you drill-down to forms and other queries.
You are not limited to viewing your Dashboard within the VisionFM application. The Dashboard is an installable widget that can be added to your Windows sidebar. The Dashboard widget uses web services to securely access your VisionFM database while regularly refreshing the totals on your Windows desktop.
