2. While installing, I get the error message "Can not register .DLL file".
This problem is typically seen in Windows 2000 or XP when running virus protection software. VisionFM is either unable to install some files or is unable to register those files. To resolve this, shut off the virus protection software, run the installation, then restart the virus protection software.
3. How do I upgrade from previous StandAlone versions?
The latest version of VisionFM has new major features, which allowed VisionFM applications developers to greatly improve the modules. In doing so, changes were made to the database, which prevents old databases from running with the new version. Please contact Vision at 1-888-654-9435 to find out how your existing data can be migrated to the new database structure.
4. The default company name is VisionFM, how do I change it to my company's name?
The Company Setup form in the Administrator module allows you to set your company name, logo and address as the default for the database. All report headers will adjust to match the information you provide in the Company Setup form.
