What are VisionFM's typical system requirements?
The client application requires Windows XP or 2000, 100Mb of hard drive space, 256Mb of RAM and 1024x768 display minimum. Communication to the database uses standard Windows networking.

The Web Client application requires Internet Explorer running on Windows XP or 2000, 10Mb of hard drive space, 256Mb of RAM and 1024x768 display minimum. Communication to the Web Server is over SSL.

The VisionFM Server requires Windows 2000 Server with 1GB of RAM, 100Mb of hard drive space and 1024x768 display minimum. Web Server has the same requirements but must also have Internet Information Server installed.

What interface does VisionFM support?
The full client interface is its own application that runs on Windows operating systems. The Web Client application uses Internet Explorer version 6 and up.

Does VisionFM support a browser based solution? If so, which browser and version and are all modules accessible via the browser?
Yes, we support Internet Explorer 6 and up, running on Windows operating systems. All modules are accessible via a browser. AutoCAD drafting and customization are not supported on the web.

What are VisionFM's application, data and network security features?
A secure user login is used to validate user names and passwords. Once authenticated, access to information, modules and drawings are controlled by each user's profile, set up by the Administrator. This includes a user's ability to read/write with VisionFM forms.

Does VisionFM use encryption?
Encryption is used for password submission and when sending/receiving data between the client and server. Web clients use SSL.
