Disciplines - Survey Management

Creating surveys for people and locations.

CThe new Survey module provides a flexible method for collecting condition information at a specific point in time. In VisionFM that information becomes even more valuable when it’s combined with existing facilities information. Managers can define a survey questionnaire and connect it to employees, contractors, rooms, departments, work orders, contracts and projects.

Imaging creating a maintenance contract and then issuing a monthly survey to the contract manager, with the survey results connected in the database to the contract information. Or how about creating an on-line incident report form for security staff with the resulting report associated back to the room, department and employee involved in the incident.

Surveys can also be created for room conditions. A custodian manager could survey a room for cleanliness, carpet wear, lighting quality and inspect furniture for damages.

Managers can define their own surveys and develop a list of questions and responses. Some questions may require yes/no answers, others are pick-lists of possible answers while some may be dates, locations or employee names.

After the surveys are defined they can be run when necessary or issues to groups of employees. For example, you may want to create a post-move survey and issue it to each person involved in the move.

Managers can summarize similar surveys to find averages or they can review surveys performed at different times to identify changing situations.
