Manage Employee and Asset Moves
Move management is an important component in maintaining accurate facilities information. It maintains employee and asset locations plus labor and construction costs required for the move.
With VisionFM's Move Order form the move manager can quickly selecting a location and display the employee and assets assigned to the space. Selecting a move-to location automatically displays its current occupancy and availability. Costs associated with the move can also be recorded including, parts and construction.
With VisionFM's optional Event Notification System a move order can automatically trigger communications with other departments involved in the move such as an email to the IT department informing them of a phone change, or a notice to security that a contractor will be on site.
Other VisionFM forms involved in employee locations such as the Human Resources form create and instant move order if an employee is reassigned, ensuring that all move history is recorded and available for reporting and analysis.
Completed moves automatically update employee locations and department assignments for accurate space chargebacks, ownership and availability.
Features
Initiate a move from a work request or in the Move Order form.
The move order records the author, requestor and employee(s) being moved.
Moves types include box moves (employee only), moves with labor, and moves with construction.
Moves-with-construction allow additional work orders to be assigned to the move request.
All costs for the move including parts used, internal labor, contractor invoices and taxes are recorded allowing the move manager to view the actual move cost.
When selecting a move-to location the system displays occupancy and availability information for the room.
A move order can include more than one employee and/or asset relocation.
The move form displays all assets located in the employees room.
Individual assets can be selected to be moved.
The move manager can select the move date and assign the work to internal staff or a contractor.
