The Management of Labor, Materials and Schedules

VisionFM is professional facilities management software that provides a complete perspective on your facilities operation by bringing together space, people, assets, maintenance and finance into a single system. By combining this information together it provides unique views on the performance of your facilities, resulting in more informed decision making.
To better describe VisionFM's capabilities we have divided it into three disciplines; CAFM, CMMS and FIMS. All three are includes in VisionFM's site license, providing a complete facilities solution.
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is the management of labor, materials and schedules required for the continuing operation of your facilities.
The management of on-demand work and scheduled maintenance starts with the proper documenting of the situation. Having maintenance management integrated with space, employee and asset information helps ensure accuracy. For example, a call center operator enters the callers name, immediately the callers contact information, location, call history and asset information is displayed. Work can quickly be assigned to the location or an asset, reducing data entry time and ensuring accuracy.
The maintenance manager has a birds-eye-view of on-demand and preventative maintenance work ensuring that work orders are not misplaced or forgotten. With VisionFM's optional Event Notification System you can even set up business processes that automatically send email notifications, print work orders and escalate work that is overdue or of a higher priority.
As work is completed the system records the staff that performed the work, ensuring accountability. It also builds a maintenance history that includes costs, which can be analyzed to measure performance and to plan future budgets.
Like all of VisionFM's modules, CMMS modules are fully web enabled, allowing the maintenance department to set up a self service website for company staff and to provide easy access to trades and contractors to receive and close maintenance tasks regardless of their location.
