VisionFM is professional facilities management software that provides a complete perspective on your facilities operation by bringing together space, people, assets, maintenance and finance into a single system.  By combining this information together it provides unique views on the performance of your facilities resulting in more informed decision making. 

To better describe VisionFM's capabilities we have divided it into three disciplines; CAFM, CMMS and FIMS.  All three are includes in VisionFM's site license, providing a complete facilities solution.

CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) is the management of the physical building and its contents.  CAFM includes employee information, assets, space information and the link to AutoCAD drawings.

Reduce Cost by Effectively Managing Space

Managing space starts with the creation of the building portfolio including information on capacity, zoning and replacement values.  As space is created and assigned to employees and departments VisionFM maintains accurate chargeback information, vacant space and the efficiency of space based on your space standards.

The result is that the facilities department can provide detailed reports on how effectively each department is utilizing it's space and if required, charge back for the space.

VisionFM benchmark reports allow facilities managers to compare space performance between buildings within the portfolio and against their industry piers.  Benchmark reports include size and use of facilities, vacancy rates, office size, relocation and churn.

Make More Informed Decisions by Centralizing Information

VisionFM's CAFM modules provide a central location for managing space, employee and asset information.    Centralizing this information allows facilities managers to optimize space usage, charge back for space, plan relocations and forecast future requirements.

CAFM information also enhances other VisionFM modules such as maintenance and leasing, expanding the answers that VisionFM can provide such as operating cost by department.

Changes in one module are automatically reflected in all VisionFM modules ensuring that decisions are being made based on up-to-date information.  The applications team at VisionFM can also set up data exchanges between VisionFM and your human resource and accounting systems, eliminating the duplication of data entry while ensuring that all departments are working with current information.

Improve Communication with the Visualization of Space

By running AutoCAD with VisionFM any space or asset can be graphically displayed in drawings and the associated data maintained in the database.  VisionFM's built-in drawing viewer automatically makes the drawings available to all VisionFM users and visitors to your facilities web site. 

Drawings become even more valuable when combined with VisionFM data.  Users can ask questions in VisionFM and see the results graphically, making the information much easier to understand.  For example; highlight drawings by department color or locate an employee and display their office location. 

Empower Employees by Delivering Key Information

With VisionFM's Web Interface employees can work with information you make available to them.  For example; the employee phonebook provides quick access to employee numbers and office locations.  Managers can quickly display information on space, employees and assets assigned to their department, and relocate employees or submit a move request if labor is required.
