The Dealer or VAR Channel

The VisionFM distribution channel is constantly developing so it is suggested you call periodically for the most current information. VisionFM's goal is to maintain a network of Value Added Resellers (VARs) across North America, working in cooperation with each other, offering the best possible service to clients. Applications for VAR status are constantly accepted and reviewed. If you believe your organization can enhance the VisionFM network, please feel free to apply. As a policy, VisionFM does not offer any exclusive territories, but will limit the number of dealerships in any given area. Acting quickly may ensure your organization an opportunity in a busy market.

Profile of a Value Added Reseller

The role of the VAR is to introduce VisionFM to potential clients and enhance the client's efforts in integrating VisionFM into their organizations. The typical profile of a VisionFM VAR is an experienced consulting company which offers implementation services, training, customization and on-site support. However, many VAR's are architectural firms, AutoCAD resellers and interior designers who are also experienced integrators of CAFM systems.

VisionFM requires each VAR to have at least one full time technical support person on staff who has attended VisionFM training and one full time sales person on staff who is capable of demonstrating VisionFM.

Cost - VisionFM Value Added Reseller License and Software - $38,000

Each potential VAR must purchase a VisionFM VAR License before being recognized as a dealer. When the license is purchased, the VAR will receive a VisionFM dealer kit, consisting of two copies of VisionFM ENTERPRISE Bundle, one for resale (value $38,000) and the other, not-for-resale, to be used by the dealer for support and demonstrations. VARs receive free support, upgrades and free training for up to three people per year at VisionFM's offices, travel and accommodations not included. VARs purchase Vision software at 30% off the list price and services at 20% off the list price. The company profile and contact information will be added to the VisionFM web site as a licensed dealer.
